Our own Davao Food Trip took us last February 18 to FAGIOLI Coffee Club located in front of Link2Support Damosa Gateway and beside Kia Davao Motors at Lanang, Davao City. Fagioli is said to be Italian for coffee beans. Its owner is Maria Christina M. Rebosura and it’s her second branch for Fagioli which opened in Davao City last November 2007.
Hubby said the first branch of Fagioli is in General Santos. It is actually located at Kare Petron Service Station, J. Catolico Avenue, Lagao, General Santos City. We tried it out because we heard they also have free WIFI. Indeed that Monday evening there were only a few people inside but most were busy with their notebooks while enjoying Fagioli’s coffee. Last night, hubby said that there were so many people at Fagioli and it’s like SRO!
I noticed Pronto Mario before when I went at Paper Tree a few days ago but was not sure then that this was a coffee shop. They just opened exactly a week ago last February 25, 2008. We just had dinner at KFC Gaisano Mall when I thought of going to Paper Tree to buy something for our office. When we got to Paper Tree was already closing and then we noticed this. So we decided to check this out. Hmmm I was still quite full from just having dinner and having another food trip was something we don’t want to pass. We both liked their Caramel Shake and Rocky Road Shake.
My Weekend Snapshot entry here is a snapshot of where our own Food Trip took us last night at Ranchero’s Grill in Tionko Avenue, Davao City where we tried out their Baby Back Ribs. First time we went there just a few days ago, we were disappointed after the waitress took our order and came back to tell us that they no longer have Baby Back Ribs. That was the only reason we came there so we had to cancel our other orders then. The second snapshot is Ranchero’s own version of Sansrival which is one of my favorite cakes. It is sweeter than I thought that I was not able to consume all of it which is unusual hmmmm knowing my appetite for sweet cakes and pastries.
