Create Your Own Banana Cue at Saging Repablik
The newly opened Saging Repablik here in Davao City will let you create your own banana cue.
It was fun! Try it especially with your kids. 🙂
STEP 1: Choose your own banana cue.
STEP 2: Choose your dip or spread.
For the dip, you may choose from caramel, chocolate and white chocolate.
For my little guy’s banana cue, he chose the white chocolate dip.
For the spread, you may choose from peanut butter, Nutella, and Speculoos.
For my banana cue, we chose the Nutella spread.
STEP 3: Choose 3 toppings.
Choices for toppings are: mini candies, almonds, white chocolate, choco chips, rice crisps, sprinkles, choco nut, chopped nuts and chopped chocolate.
My little guy chose sprinkles, candies, and choco chips. I chose almonds, choc nut and chopped chocolate.
STEP 4: See your banana cue creation here.
Tada! Here’s our banana cue…
His banana cue creation…
My banana cue creation…
Each banana cue costs P55.
May come out as being quite pricey as one may initially think it is but remember that you get to choose your own spread – Nutella, chocolate and white chocolate PLUS you get to choose 3 toppings too!
It’s also a fun experience for kids and those kids at heart. My little guy enjoyed it. So did I. He said his banana cue was delicious! I liked mine too! I wish it had more almonds and choc nut in it. I love both toppings so you may say ‘nabitin pa nga ako’. Hahaha! I am not sure though if you have the option to buy additional toppings. Yes talk about toppings overload. *wink*
It’s no longer the ordinary banana cue we get to eat. I can say it can be worth it because you enjoy eating your creation in a nice ambiance along with your loved ones and friends.
As I have said in my first post, this makes me think of Magnum Manila only done Davao-style using saging or banana cue!
I hope you also enjoyed the experience of making your own banana cue. By the way, there are more sagingese cuisine to try as they call it at Saging Repablik.
