Deli-HOT!

This delicious and hot binignit as we call it here while others call this ginataan which we got from the neighbor last Good Friday. I am not sure of the English translation but I read it was called a warm root crops and fruit stew. I noticed this is often cooked and this is what we often get from the neighbors during the Holy Week. I recall this is what my former officemates always plan to cook during the Holy Week. Sorry for the association but based on my experience this is what people here often have during those holy days even in the heat of the hot summer over here. Even before when I once went to the market, they have many of the ingredients more visibly sold by the stores there. Anyway, you can always have this any time you want. This is just my observation. My most fave ingredients here is the landang or palm flour jelly balls and the most especially the bilo-bilo or sticky rice balls. Hmmm thinking about it makes me crave for this again!
