Davao Food Trip #4 @ Salutti
My hubby, me and our child were fortunate enough to be able to part in the Davao Food Trip Leg #4 at Salutti last January 19, 2008 at 3:30PM. This was organized by Blogie who invited ten (10) Mindanao bloggers to join in the fun and have a delicious food trip and this time at Salutti.
Ms. Tricie Arcenas, owner of Salutti as well as her two staff were very gracious and accommodating when we were the first to arrive there at her cozy little Italian restaurant right behind Claude’s Le Café de Ville at the Habana Compound, Rizal Street, Davao City. Ria arrived next to us then Dulce, Tiara, Andrew, Kim, Winston, Migs, Blogie and finally Chikai (last but definitely not the least) who said she got lost looking for Salutti.
We got a rare and great treat and we were served most of their delicious food in their menu.
Kani Salad with Japanese Dressing
Spinach Dip served with Crostini
Chicken Fingers with Honey Mustard Dip
Creamy Alfredo with Shitake Mushroom and Roasted Garlic
Chicken in Mushroom Cream Sauce
Definitely, my favorite would have to be their Gambas and Moist Chocolate Cake. Their Chicken Fingers is so yummy too! I also instantly love their Kani Salad with Japanese Dressing. Honestly I am not much of a vegetable salad eater but I was able to eat more of it and would have wanted more serving of it. Maybe when hubby and I would go back their on our own and have our own food trip, I would definitely order their Kani Salad and had my sister been there with us, she would definitely love it too.
We are so grateful for the kindness and generosity of the owners, Vince and Tricie Arcenas! Thanks to Blogie too for inviting us over to our first Davao Food Trip! Till the next yummy food trip! 🙂
