Square Indulgence Cake from Tiny Kitchen Davao… Once Again for Valentine’s
The 8th of February 2012… I once again get to eat Tiny Kitchen’s Square Indulgence Cake, a fave! Remembering the same Square Indulgence Cake of Tiny Kitchen Davao as Valentine’s Treat last year.
I was actually initially craving for a particular cake that simply has butter cream icing. I can even just buy and have butter cream icing but just don’t know where to buy it in Davao if there is any (without the cake). Just thinking since yesterday that my mommy easily makes this kind of icing before at our home when we were really young made me want to eat it. Hubby indulged and went for my craving. He almost always tolerate me and give in to me cravings.
When the rain did not continue late this afternoon, we went off to Torres Street with the idea of buying the Black Forest Cake | Bistro Rosario Davao whose icing I remembered I liked so well when my HS classmate bought it during a meet-up with friends prior to our HS reunion last year.
Hubby and I even checked the Red Ribbon Cakes earlier in the afternoon at its Abreeza Mall branch. Their Black Forest cakes was on 20% discount already. I just passed on it. I’ll try them next time.
After dining at Pepper & Pepper’s for the very first time, hubby said we still have enough time to go to Tiny Kitchen. Ms. Donna Rodriguez was there, all smile as she saw us, kind and as lovely even after a long day. I asked if the kids were already asleep even knowing they are not around the store at that time at night. We have met their three beautiful and lovely kids.
Since the store was closing in a few minutes, I just directly ordered and got my Square Indulgence Cake for P320 for the small size this time since it is quite an indulgence indeed already. The cake is really delicious made of thick chocolate and vanilla mousse. It is heaven! But I cannot eat so much of this sweet treat since I am trying to control my sweets intake too especially for someone who is not getting any younger. *Wink*
This advance V-Day treat actually did not last long for the little boy and I ate it with so much delight that it did not even reach close to V-Day at all. Thanks dad for the sweet treat advance for Valentine’s day!
