Black Forest Cake | Bistro Rosario Davao

The Black Forest Cake we bought at Bistro Rosario located at Torres St. Davao City. We got this as the birthday cake of my brother about two weeks ago. What I love about this cake is the icing. It reminds me of the plain cake icing that my mom used to make for our vanilla chiffon cake that she used to bake for us so many years ago. My sisters did like the cake though they said they missed the chocolate moist cake that we used to buy from Joniel’s. Well we didn’t have time anymore to pass by Joniel’s that day and since Bistro Rosario was just near the resto where we ordered some food too so it was just convenient.

I honestly had chocolate overload that day including this chocolate cake plus the fried viand that I ate that day that my siblings said jokingly that it was quite obvious what I had been eating lately with my face becoming oily. I said I don’t care that much for that time coz I really just wanted to eat and celebrate the special occasion plus this cake is something not to pass up. I don’t get to eat this too often anyway.

Even if it would eventually do cause some zits on my face which I am sometimes prone to when I eat chocolates, nuts and oily food, oh well I know I can find ways like I can always find a way to treat those anytime they feel like coming out. I will still eat this cake for its icing that I love and occasions like this does not happen often anyway. Okay I know the holidays are coming and more chances to eat this may come but hey let’s enjoy life eating delicious food when we can. Now talking about this cake we had a few weeks ago makes me crave for it now. I may just have to wait for the next occasion to come and I have a reason to buy this black forest cake again! I just wish they put more icing! LOL!
