The Malagos Farmhouse sublime line
is made up of their blended cow and goat’s milk cheese, made in the style of chèvre.
The added cow’s milk lends an almost caramel flavor to this cheese.
Creamy, spreadable and absolutely delightful, simply sublime!
Need to note:
Expires until 4 months from production.
Refrigerate at 2-4C. Please do not freeze.
Consume within 3 days from opening.
This won’t be a problem somehow.
The problem is how not to consume it in a day only.
Price is around P240 or 250 for 150grams.
Their chevre cheese was one of a personal first fave
among the Malagos cheeses.
The mango chevre especially.
Whenever I get to find it in the cheese spread of any buffet,
expect getting a second serving of it.
Also the La Maria which according to the Malagos staff is easily sold out when it become available.
This is a creamy cow’s milk bloomy rind cheese. It is basket molded by hand, slowly ladled and gently turned. The cheese mold encourage the formation of a velvety exterior while the interior remains creamy.
An alternative would be the La Regina made with goat’s milk and is quite similar to La Maria.
