Chef Rolando Laudico and Chef Jackie Laudico at the World Food Expo (WOFEX) Mindanao 2015

Couple celebrity chefs namely Chef Jacqueline “Jackie” Laudico doing a baking demo while her husband Chef Rolando Laudico or Chef Lau as he is known (for the popular Guevarra’s buffet restaurant in San Juan in Manila as well as being a judge of Master Chef Philippines), made a cooking demo of three different dishes using pesto sauce that he made using Marca Leon corn oil which is the sponsor of this demo.

It was really fun watching them cook together.

Sampled the carrot cupcake with cream cheese frosting made by Chef Jackie.

It’s delicious!!!

Good thing I went up to the SMX Convention Center after attending the opening ceremony of the 12th Mindanao Culinary Festival, a  good half an hour before Chef Jackie and Chef Lau started their demos.

Chef Jackie was so kind to pose for a snap while she was preparing before the demo. She was so kind and accommodating that she even came down from the stage herself so we can have a photo together with Chef Lau. Wow I am so happy! Glad I skipped lunch and went up to SMX at that time.
