The Rodriguez’s Tiny Kitchen Beside Ronaldo’s
The Rodriguez’s Tiny Kitchen in it’s bigger space now located beside Ronaldo’s along Torres Street, Davao City. We missed dining at Tiny Kitchen serving Spanish home-style meals plus those yummy cakes and pastries! We love their new restaurant in its new location.
I ordered my favorite Paella Negra (P350)! This time around I have no one to share it with which made me wish my sister have been there with us. I was so full with this delicious paella with squid ink.
I missed their Gambas ala Jillo but I chose the paella this time. Next time we will be back, I will try the gambas!
You can order their 3 Paellas – Valenciana, Mariscos and Negra in various sizes of Paelleras: extra small, small, medium, large, family or party. Price range for the Paella Negra is from P350-P2,630 depending on the size.
Paella Valencia an assortment of seafood and chorizo bilbao with chicken cooked in a paellera, while their Paella Mariscos is a mixture of seafood and shells.
Those who love paella, Tiny Kitchen is one good option for a place to dine in the Davao City.
Hubby loves beef and so he ordered this Caldereta Español (P245).
Tiny Kitchen’s Pollo Frito (chicken) served with rice (P160). Kids and even kids at heart would like this. We did!
This is the Oreo Cheesecake that our little boy wanted to eat but I told him to finish his chicken and rice first before we will order this. A slice costs P120. We will try this the next time we come back to Tiny Kitchen.
The display of The Rodriguez’s Tiny Kitchen Creations can make it hard for one to decide which to eat for dessert after a tummy-filling meal. We love their Square Indulgence cake. A must try for those who love chocolate cake. It is unique and delicious! The cakes that I want to taste next time are the Yema Cake and Dulce de Leche Cake.
It must have been a blessing in disguise tonight when the road to Abreeza was blocked on this rainy night that we decided to head out to Torres Street through the Circumferential Road. Thankful for the patient taxi driver who drove us through what seem to be an expensive joy ride due to the traffic. But that won’t ruin our night out with the boys because the circumstances led us to The Rodriguez’s Tiny Kitchen beside Ronaldo’s.
A few weeks back, we noticed the signage of Tiny Kitchen beside Ronaldo’s as we passed by. We got excited that they were moving to a bigger, nearer and better restaurant place (which used to be another restaurant that sounded like Tierra or something) near Holiday Gym & Spa but still they are located along Torres Street, Davao City.
The first and last time we dined there was last year I think with my eldest sister, hubby and our little boy. We would come back to buy their Square Indulgence cake which became my fave cake and that of our little boy.
Thank you Ms. Donna and to Chef Vincent Rodriguez! Hugs to your beautiful kids Sam, Julian and Anna!
Visit their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tiny-Kitchen-Creations) and see more of their delicious dishes, cakes and pastries!
