CafeFrance is more than your usual coffee shop… and good news for us as they will open in Davao City at 10AM tomorrow, August 16, 2012 just in time for the Kadayawan Festival 2012 offering fresh and healthy food choices for the people in Davao.
Now this place is an old historic place in the heart of Davao city making your food trip and visit at Cafe France Davao with your family, friends, guests and visitors especially during Kadayawan more special and memorable one just as they want to bring a new dining experience to Davao.
CafeFrance is located at the 2nd floor of the Manila Bulletin building at Rizal Street corner Ponciano Street (now called C. Bangoy Street or that part of the street which some of us refer to as the “crooked road”).
This is their first branch in Visayas and Mindanao, particularly in Davao City. To find the place, just go and find Manila Bulletin office in Rizal Street and you should be able to see Cafe France immediately at the right side with the stairs going up to the second floor. This is their 34th branch nationwide.
More than the usual coffee shop that serves brewed coffee, decaffeinated coffee, cafe americano, cappuccino, cafe latte, cafe mocha, espresso, hot milk, hot chocolate and hot tea aside from cold beverages like iced latte, iced mocha and mocha frappe as well as premium coffee among others…
They also serve good food at any time of the day…
Breakfast Deluxe (P295) served with freshly brewed coffee, premium orange juice, fresh fruit plate and your choice of bread with butter and strawberry jam.
Also try their Breakfast Plate which could be another good choice to start your day right and that comes with freshly baked bread, breakfast meat, eggs, fresh fruits and premium coffee.
Breakfast Beef & Egg shown below served with rice and macaroni salad.
Their Tray Couture or their French gourmet tray with sandwich and pasta combination – served with dessert (varies from day to day) and choice of drink. This one below is their Tray Couture Pierre (P280) served with Seafood Marinara, Seafood Deluxe Clubhouse and a rich chocolate morsel.
Their Roasted Chicken with Macaroni Salad…
I chose to try their Premier Clubhouse… it was delicious and tummy-filling. I was only able to eat half of this serving while I shared the other half to the other bloggers there for them to try it too.
I would also like to try this other one next time…
Their Seafood Marinara…
Party Trays (in 12’s or 25’s) which are great for meetings, get together or cocktails with friends. Allow them three (3) hours to prepare your party trays. They have Canapes – Classic, Premium, Sushi, and Crabstick. They also have Premium Nutty Tarts and Mini Fruit Tarts which I would like to try next time.
BREAD with a variety of choices: Paton, Soft, Sweet and Savories…
This assortment of bread and pastries are baked on-site.
Cafe France will soon open on August 27 at The Peak and another one at the Upper Ground of Gaisano Mall Davao. They will open another branch as well in SM Gensan. They are also planning to open another branch in SM Lanang Premier and also another branch at SM City Davao. Having a commissary in Davao hence they aim to open up these five branches in Davao City.
We have actually seen Delifrance in Manila during one of our trips there after which I heard that Jollibee which used to own Delifrance franchise in the Philippines sold Delifrance to Euro-Med Philippines (of the Manila Bulletin group owned by Don Emilio Yap) last December 2010. Davao welcomes the arrival of CafeFrance giving us new dishes to enjoy… C’est la vie!
