Serenitea Davao
Serenitea opened in Davao City at the Victoria Plaza Mall compound last January 09, 2015.
It opened at the location where Fiorgelato (the latest) and Calle Cinco used to be near Mandarin Tea Garden, Basti’s Brew and the McDonalds Bajada branch outside Victoria Plaza.
We were waiting for its opening since last week after seeing it was almost finished. I found out it was finally open through Instagram from a photo posted by the daughter of Ms. D. of Dolce Vida who we saw there too. There were no updates yet regarding its soft opening on Serenitea’s FB and Instagram accounts.
We were there last night (above snapshots taken last night too) with my little guy as we made a quick visit for an errand at Victoria Plaza. So I thought we might as well check out the new tea shop in the city which, if I am not mistaken, is their first branch in Mindanao.
This photo below of their al fresco or outdoor section was also taken last night.
This one below was taken today when we came back to try their food.
I like the interiors of the newly opened Serenitea Davao as it still looks pristine and clean.
They have a unique bird cage like pair of seats that you can see at the inner right side corner.
This is a huge logo of Serenitea that you will see upon entering as you go to the counter to make your order.
Pardon the ladder which I was too “shy” to move last night. It was not there anymore when we went back this afternoon.
The baristas of Serenitea were quite busy this afternoon as there were more customers.
It’s nice to see them smiling and happy with their work at this moment.
These are what you will see on one wall coming from the counter to the dining area, near the restroom section actually.
Then they have the unique mix of tiles on the floor near the counter.
I have seen a couple of photos of it posted recently on Instagram. You can take your snapshot too while waiting in line. I took a snapshot too with my hubby of our shadows while we waited for our turn to order.
I like this part of their wall as shown in the photo above.
Like this section of the wall too that says “Not all who wander are lost.” The table where you will find this is always occupied. People love this spot.
The people there last night was more quite. Hence we enjoyed a more serene ambiance at Serenitea Davao. Nice place to chill and relax after school or work. A new hangout for people looking for serene ambiance.
Their vision states, “Serenitea aims to be the preferred choice of Filipino people where they come to enjoy tea-drinking experience in a serene ambiance.” Hence the name Serenitea.
The menu shown in these two screens located above the cashier counter. Check it out in here – Menu of Serenitea Davao.
Here’s Serenitea’s Top 10 List:
I came back again after last night to try their top best seller Okinawa milk tea. Last night, we tried their Cocoa Cookies & Cream, one of the choices from their Ice Cream Milk Tea flavors.
Today, we tried their Okinawa milk tea, their top 1 best seller drink.
I like the Okinawa milk tea better than the Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Milk Tea we tasted last night.
They have various sinkers for the customer to mix with their drink like aloe vera bits, black bricks, black diamonds, crystals, egg pudding, grass jelly, green tea jelly, pearls, perilla and red bean.
We chose black diamond, one of their best seller among their sinkers as we were told by someone and it was also suggested by the barista.
Their Chicken Chops, breaded chicken strips with zesty spices, is now a fave which was also recommended by people I know that we also saw there this afternoon trying out Serenitea here in Davao.
It is served with crispy basil leaves.
I have been craving for corn in the past and I took this chance to satisfy that craving. Indeed I would recommend their Peppered Corn. True indeed their food are must try.
Peppery version of corn in a cob that is now my personal fave. I really liked it and I can have more of these anytime.
Both are seasoned with Serenitea’s house-special pepper.
We will be back to try their other beverages and snack options on the menu.

Yehey open na sila!
Weeeee! Their tasty snack food are a must try.
It is a nice, new place to chill and relax indeed!
However, this afternoon when we were there with my friends, there was a table near us occupied by a group of young friends who enjoyed their stay too much forgetting about the SERENE ambiance that the place is supposed to offer that other customers would have wanted to enjoy especially if it might have been their first visit. They weren’t kids.
So I hope this is a friendly reminder to everyone to respect the serene ambiance in this place. We can enjoy time with friends without need for being loud while having fun. And maybe it’s wise not to wear any IDs, lanyards or ID card tags identifying you with your school or work when you make noise in a supposedly serene place.
I love their pepper corn too. Like their food better than the drinks I have tried so far.
Finally it’s here in Davao!
Okinawa milk tea is my fave here. Can’t wait to visit with my friends soon.
