Golden Bananas

Thinking about those coins that one can buy online from the Gold Eagle made me remember about these golden bananas that we recently bought at Robinsons Supermarket. We have lots of bananas in the region and we export lots of them to other countries.

I have made bananas as part of my daily diet once again for fiber and as I have read from other sources it provides a source of energy, helps reduce blood pressure and also help against all heart disease. It is also believed to be great for lifting ones mood for those who are depressed. It is also noted that it help to regulate blood glucose levels for those who suffer from PMS. Thanks to the vitamin B6 content in bananas.

However there is one recent article in the news bothered me a little bit since it was saying that radiation acquired from eating a banana is 280 times higher than the radiation in the air currently recorded in relation to that Japan nuclear reactor crisis. The reason for this is that bananas are said to contain lots of potassium-40 they say. Maybe it is important that we don’t eat too much of anything.
