My boys and I were just counting the few days left before the start a long summer vacation this year as our current fave hotel in Davao City launched their summer promo on the 1st of March held at Seda Abreeza’s Misto.
It was a night of good food and refreshing drinks perfect for this summer season, shared over laughter and talk with good and fun company with our media friends and very accommodating hosts from Seda Abreeza Hotel. It was a perfect way to start the summer season! Thank you, Seda Abreeza as always!

Summer Treats in Misto and Their International Rice Bowls
Seda Abreeza’s all-day dining restaurant presents its offerings for the summer season with International Rice Bowls, Flavors of the Philippines, Summer Coolers and Cocktails.

Summer is just around the corner and Seda Abreeza welcomes the season with delectable food offers and beverage treats! The recently awarded culinary team led by Sous Chef Bang Flores aims to take its valued diners to a gastronomic tour right in one’s plate.
Adopting the successful run of International Rice Buffet in Seda BGC, Seda Abreeza takes on its own approach of the promotion. International Rice Bowls offers diverse ingredients from all over the world, with special twists from the Misto team.
Some rice bowls on the menu include: Hong Kong XO Fried Rice with Scallops and Asparagus, Saffron and Pimiento Basmati Rice (Spanish-Indian fusion), Brown Rice Stir-fry Vegetables, Creole Shrimp Rice (South American-inspired), Thai Spicy Basil Chicken Fried Rice, and Smoked Fish, Salted Egg Fried Rice.

This is presented on a dinner buffet during Fridays and set menus during lunch and dinner from March to April.
The dinner buffet comes with sumptuous dishes from the different regions of the country, in participation on the “Flavors of the Philippines” project initiated by Department of Tourism and Tourism Promotions Board.
The dinner buffet is available at Php 980 nett, the set menus at Php 1680 nett (good for 4) and 980 nett (good for 2), and ala carte dishes at Php 580 nett.
A Filipino classic dessert is also on the menu this summer. Misto’s halo-halo gives you the perfect mix of ingredients to satisfy your cravings during the raving heat. This is available at Php 180 nett.
Summer cocktails feature choices of beverages that will soothe one’s thirst, namely: Sunset Boulevard, White Beach, and High Tide – all available at Php 280 nett.

Among the food offerings they have this summer, I would recommend you try the Creole Shrimp Rice Bowl; Grilled Shrimps (it’s now obvious I love shrimps, right?); Mango Sansrival and coffee leche flan are must-try desserts and taste of sweet heaven for me; and the halo halo because it came with my fave ube ice cream and I had it with a generous serving of macapuno!
