Little Italy Pizzeria Opens in North of Davao Branch
Little Italy Pizzeria opens finally a branch in the north side of Davao City last week and we just discovered it last night while we have been actually craving and thinking of pizza dinner. We skipped a pizza place in Lanang and Damosa and somehow our walking was led to Sumo Asia compound looking for something new and when I looked to the left part, I saw a new lighted logo signage. Lo and behold it read LITTLE ITALY PIZZERIA!
A little alfresco pizzeria known in Davao City for pizza lovers and located in Eco West drive near SM City Davao same compound as where Space Arabica coffee shop is, Little Italy has been one of the to go places for delicious and fresh made pizza in the city. It’s a happylicious news for some friends here in the north of Davao to know they opened their second branch here nearby.
The owner John and his gf were friendly and accommodating. We were the only customers when we came. Maam greeted us with a smile and I was kind of hesitant if they were really open already. Glad to have the place mostly to ourselves as we get to chat with the owner sir and maam and their young lady staff. Our Tuesday dinner became interesting aside from getting freshly made quattro formagio that I really enjoyed especially while it was still served warm. My companion wanted calzone which has red sauce. I am swaying away from red sauce if I can but the pizza tasted good. Nakulangan sa Sprite lang hahaha. Tama man din dapat konti lang talaga even if cheat day it became unplanned. Minsan na lang man din pagbigyan na. Bawi na lang sa diet in the coming days.Or not as we planned to come back again soon.
Hope the owner will still be the one making and baking the pizza freshly made. Nothing beats good tasting and freshly made pizza plus good conversation with people who knows some of the people in the food and coffee industry as well. The conversation was interesting and at one point was asking them places they love to eat in Davao City aside of course from their very own pizzeria. Appreciate sir John’s honest opinions on health related questions about food. It was a good evening of delicious freshly made pizza and good conversations. We are not into wine and alcohol but they do serve spirits in the pizzeria. It’s like a little Italian pizz and wine place in there especially at night. Bring your good friends there who love pizza as well.
Their cozy place now has an aircon area as well as an alfresco dining area outside still for those who come at night for dinner. They are open from 3PM to 11PM daily. Glad to know they close later than most restos in Mamay area.
