Dinner with the Titas at BC Chicken Lanang
I passed by a HS classmate while I was walking home one day.
She was waiting for our other HS classmates
who just attended an alumni meeting.
So we ended up having dinner at BC Chicken
the closest to real food we can find in the north area
while wanting resto choices to go down south,
we cannot deal with wasting time with the afternoon rush hour traffic.
Real food for me should be healthy food and
I guess this will do for the hungry Titas for now looking for laswa or lawuy.
Because we were in BC Chicken, you must try their chicken.
All my Tita classmates ordered this.
I always have chicken when in Gensan,
so I opted out from chicken
and had this one below instead.
Tortang Talong craving made me order this
though the previous one I had there tasted more delicious
for my preference compared to this.
This was still good though.
Now, if you are looking for the laswa or law uy, t
hey did not order it anymore and
instead they went for Bulalo.
This is a popular Filipino soup with beef shanks and bone marrow.
This is how their Bulalo looks here.
This serving looks and taste a little different for me, not what I expected.
The corn tasted somehow different.
Not my kind of bulalo in mind.
The little guy ordered this combo of pork BBQ
with choice of their kalo kalo rice that has fried garlic bits on top
and a few strips of atsara for side dish.
At BC Chicken Lanang they also serve Bubble Black Milk Tea and beverages.
Thirsty for some quenching fruit shake, my little guy ordered mango shake.
Tasted between a ripe and green mango.
Still refreshing anyway after a hot afternoon.
