Annipie: Your Cinnamon Destination in Davao Opens at SM Lanang Premier

When in Davao and looking for cinnamon rolls to satisfy and indulge in your cravings, Annipie has built their name as the place to go since they started in 2007 as the cinnamon destination in the city.

Annipie have recently opened their fifth branch at SM Lanang Premier at the ground floor under the stairs near the SM Supermarket entrance.

With this one we tried in their new branch, we mostly agreed that the sweetness was not overwhelming. There is less feeling of guilt when you are on a diet or when you try your best to lessen your sweet indulgence on anything as you eat this cake. Definitely a must-try when you dine at Annipie. I love this cake!

Annipie comes from the combination of the names of the Partoza siblings ANdrea, NIcolas and PIa. The siblings own the Malvar outlet where we usually personally buy before our cinnamon rolls which we love and since they serve meals there too, we would usually dine there before whenever we would wait for a checkup at Davao Doctors Hospital and medical tower. I used to buy their cinnamon rolls and give them as gifts and treats during the Christmas season or on certain special occasions. We also love their bestseller box combination of pastries, brownies and revel bars. Especially their caramel bars which is an old fave of mine then.

The owners John Erwin Anonuevo and wife Andrea Socorro Partoza Anonuevo have plans of expanding through franchise ideally outside Davao such as Cagayan De Oro and other places.

They are aiming to make Annipie not just a known cinnamon destination in the city but as a known “pasalubong” destination as well since their cakes such as their bestseller Pistachio Sansrival cake and other pastries are also becoming favorites of their new and loyal customers through the years.
