Walnut Dacquoise and Ube Mousse Cake | Entree Apo View Hotel

I did not have a birthday cake recently because I told hubby I would rather save whatever money we can save to buy gold perhaps or any more useful thing to spend our hard earned money. Or we can just buy one next time during the family gathering for the triple birthday celebration in our family.

But when we had a birthday dinner at Entree at Apo View Hotel… finally after so much postponement… they had these two cakes at their dessert buffet table – Walnut Dacquoise and Ube Mousse Cake (sugarfree).

I told the boys this will do as my birthday cake since if we buy one we would have a hard time consuming it since I am likely the only one to eat it anyway. LOL!

I have to remind myself to abstain since it is still the Lenten season and I am supposed to control my diet. Between these two cakes I like the Walnut better. If you want to go for a food trip, try Entree at Apo View. I will try to make a post about that birthday food trip next time.
