Dear Red Ribbon

Dear Red Ribbon,

It has been quite a long time since we bought a cake from any of your branch here. Then we wanted to give it another try this weekend and try your dedication cakes that I saw in your Facebook page.

The writing there on your cakes were very nice (uniform too) so I thought you have trained your staff on that one comment that is common not only here but even in Manila – the free lettering is not nice. One thing that Goldilocks can really compete with you to be honest as a customer of both companies is that their lettering is way nicer.

So here is the cake we bought yesterday for my daddy’s birthday and for Father’s day…

Red Ribbon dedication cake - lettering problem persists

There’s no “y” in Daddy and I dunno what happened to the “f” in the word Father’s… I am disappointed all over again. My bad too that I did not check for I trusted your people. Your customers concern were never addressed until this time. I have read the comments in your Facebook page about this months ago and yet it happened to me once again.

Sincerely,

Your customer…

… who might not buy another dedication cake unless you find someone among dedicated or someone trained among your staff to doing this lettering job or what term is more fitting for it. I even asked your sales lady if you have someone talented or fit for this job. And now I know why she just smiled, looked at me and did not even answer my question.

This is no big deal actually but just something I hope Red Ribbon will notice and give a little attention as this concerns customer satisfaction considering how much they have promoted their dedication cakes in Facebook that somewhat flooded my page at one point that is why I even get to notice and once again got interested buying a cake for a special occasion which happens to be a double celebration in our family that is why I tried out their dedication cake.
