Yellow Fin Seafood Restaurant | Sooo Pinoy Food Trip na Pilipinas in Davao City
Yellow Fin Seafood Restaurant was our 4th stop for the 5th and last day of the Sooo Pinoy Food Trip na Pilipinas in Davao City. The owner Engr. Joaquin “Ken” Angeles sat down and talked with us while the food was being prepared. This started out before as Carenderia then they eventually leveled up to a restaurant since the economy in Davao boomed and the owners love the peace and order in Davao.
This seafood restaurant that tags itself as “Deliciously Davao” is located along Quimpo Boulevard and it has branched out in Lanang, Davao near SM Lanang Premier. Yellow Fin specializes in Filipino seafood cuisine. It takes pride in serving dishes from the fresh ingredients within Davao and its neighboring provinces to ensure the high quality of food which are at reasonable prices.
Now here are the Filipino dishes they served us…
Adobo Tuna Buntot
Tuna Laing… another delicious laing dish only this time they mixed laing with tuna.
Sizzling Bagaybay
Durian Roll… was a hit! It was gone quickly. I love these durian rolls! I would like to go back for more.
Fried Chicken… one of their best sellers that the owner wanted us to try as well. It’s cooked just the way I remember it so many years ago. If you ever wondered why their chicken tasted so familiar well you just have to figure out how and why. *wink*
Now this rather big photo of the Yellow Fin Halo-Halo really caught my attention when we arrived there. I was looking at it for about a minute and started craving for it. I’ll go back here next time and try it. It really looks good and delicious!
