Taosi Spare Ribs & Humba (Pork Adobo) | Mandarin Tea Garden
These are two of our favorite dimsum orders when we get to dine at Mandarin Tea Garden, a restaurant serving delicious Chinese and Filipino food. The taosi spare ribs has been a long time favorite of my hubby until now while it was my fave too quite a long time ago. I have then preferred their humba or pork adobo since the little kid likes its sauce on his rice.
They have branches in Davao at SM City Davao, Gaisano Mall, NCCC Mall, Guerrero Street, Rizal Street, Victoria Plaza, Malvar Street, Bajada, Matina Centerpoint, DCLA Boulevard, Toril, etc. They also have branches in Dumaguete, General Santos, Tagum, CDO, Kidapawan, Panabo, SM Cebu and SM Iloilo.

I eat at Mandarin Restaurants around Davao frequently. Yesterday my wife and I stopped at Matina Centerpoint to eat.
The waitress that came to our table was extremely rude. She welcomed my wife and didn’t speak to me. I felt uncomfortable and like I was invisible.
While she was up close to my wife and taking the order and chatting, I asked the waitress if there was a vegetable we could add to the order, no answer. I asked if they had some Kangkong, no answer. I asked a third time if they had a vegetabale we could order. She still ignored me sharply.
I told my wife we were leaving to find a place to eat that had a customer friendly waitress, I had lost my appitite at that place.
We left and went to a restaurant down the street along Matina to eat.
I will return to other Mandarin Restaurants, but I am hoping you will tell the waiters and waitresses at the Mandarin Centerpoint to greet each customer, and acknowledge each customer.
Thank You
