Spirale Ristorante Opened at Abreeza Mall Davao
Spirale Ristorante opened a new branch at Abreeza Mall in Davao City last February 1, 2012.
It has been a long time since hubby and I dined at their Damosa branch for that one time. So when we found out the night before they opened that they will open the next day, we tried to pay them a visit but they were already about to close when we arrived. I was just able to take this photo though of their newly opened branch in Abreeza that day. We came back the next day and good thing they were not full. Service was good.
Here is what we had for dinner…

They served us queso rustico or aged cheese (top left) that is topped with walnuts as complimentary while we wait for our food. The cheese comes from Davao’s very own Malagos Farmhouse which is known to produce a wide variety of so-called Malagos cheese that are now available and used all over the country.
I prefer chicken over pork this time around and we have already tried before their Roast Garlic Chicken (P275). We ordered their Chicken Parmigiana (P275) as recommended by their waiter. It is chicken breast fillet topped with parmesan cheese with side dish of penne pasta pomodoro. It is delicious! Hubby and I both enjoyed it. I ate the penne, my fave pasta, instead of having rice which I skipped for dinner and had been eating less for quite sometime.
For the little boy since he asked for pizza, we ordered their Quattro Formaggi (P320)… white mozarella, ricotta, feta and blue cheese topped with roasted garlic served with tomato salsa (bottom right photo). This is one of their three best sellers when it comes to pizza. Though I think it was not as good as we thought it would be. Well it may all depend on each of our taste and preference. To each his own. But the chicken parmigiana we had was really good!
If you are looking for an Italian restaurant in Davao City that serves Italian dishes and of course pizza and past, go check them out at Abreeza at the restaurant row near Red Kimono, Hanoi and Cafe Laguna.
