Experience Marina Tuna’s 10-Way Tuna:
1) Tuna Belly Grilled
3. Tuna “Bagaybay” Sizzling… now that is something I missed. I like the taste of Bagaybay which is creamy more than the Bihod which usually has a course texture. All this is on the concept of them being food and nothing else.
10. Tuna Kinilaw
After days of tasting tuna dishes, I could say I loved the grilled tuna belly they served us during this particular food trip! It was delicious and probably one of the best, if not the best grilled tuna belly I have eaten in this entire Sooo Pinoy food trip experience. You would know it was indeed fresh when cooked and it was really juicy. I ate more of the grilled tuna belly and tuna jaw grilled more than I usually do on other occasions.
I really enjoyed the delicious taste when I am honestly not much of a tuna eater. Tasting the tuna kare-kare was a first time experience since it is also the first time I heard of tuna used in kare-kare. It’s something you could try ordering as well when you get to visit Marina Tuna.
It was a delicious food trip experience and it was my first time there actually since it is quite farther away from our place. I hope they would branch out to a nearer location in the downtown area in the near future and as the owner told us, they will be opening at SM Lanang!
You would see in their wall framed photos with the owner Domingo Ang who has a long experience in the tuna industry. He is also the founder of the Davao Fish Port and can assure his customers that they serve fresh and the best tuna being served in their restaurant.
Marina Tuna is just a few minutes away from the airport and near Bonifacio Motors. They offer catering services and whole tuna carving. They also deliver. When you are in the city and up for a food trip, check out the ‘home of the best tuna and seafood market restaurant’ in the city.
