Razon’s Halo Halo
Hubby and I finished checking on some stuff in our “wishlist for Santa” at the Gaisano Mall yesterday like the D7000 and MacBook Pro as well as possibly finding a Honeywell Barcode Scanner at one of the stores there when we passed by The original Razon’s that just opened last July 22. We found another branch at Damosa Market Basket. We are not just sure if they are one and the same since the waiter we asked does not know either.

Their halo-halo costs P70. The taste was good but it could have tasted better. There seems to be something missing this time that made me say, maybe Ranchero’s tasted better only that Ranchero’s always run out of stock with the macapuno for the last three times that we tried ordering it since we tasted their version for the first time in their old Metrolifestyle branch.
The Original Razon’s is known for their Halo-Halo as well as their pancit palabok. We first tried their halo-halo which has been popular among people I know in Manila. So we tried it at their branch in the Mall of Asia during one of our family vacation trips there last year. I remembered I enjoyed eating it there despite not quite meeting my expectation as to the taste based on the rave reviews given by other bloggers who have tasted it then. This time we tried it again in their newly opened branch in Davao located at the 4th floor of Gaisano Mall near the Food Hall and beside Tealoca. Do you like their halo-halo? Let me know. *wink*
I liked it when I tried it on our way to Pampanga! ^^
It’s a little different from the regular halo-halo that we are used to – one with all the different kinds of sahog! But I like bananas so much that I really don’t mind! I can’t remember, if Razon’s halo-halo has leche flan in it! That would make my day! ^^ hihihi
Happy to know it’s already here in Davao.
Can’t wait to try it again. Thanks
@sunjun, hope you can come back here and let me know if you like it. thanks for the visit! 🙂
try igloo halo halo gaisano also
mahirap talaga supply macapuno
The next time you visit Manila, try Teresita’s of San Fernando. Its along Tomas Morato, Quezon City (beside Bubble Tea/Alfredo’s). It is an offshoot of Teresita R. Razon’s Halo-halo and palabok in Pampanga. I’ll leave it to you to decide if it satisfies your expectations.
Thank you! 🙂
Will try to remember this the next time we get to travel to Manila. Kagagaling lang namin dun actually pero di kami nagawi sa may QC.
If you have other places to recommend for food trip in Manila, let us know. Salamat! :))
If you love filipino/kapampangan dishes try Patio Carlito also in QC.
For japanese try yuujin in wilson street greenhills.
Happy eating!
