Quick Foodtrip
Hubby and I had a quick food trip at Lyndon’s for the first time one noon time. It was lunch time that we got so hungry and was too tired to cook. So we decided to have a quick trip for some food at this simple, al fresco resto.
I was craving for some noodles at that time. So we ordered this so-called “tasteless pancit canton” as they labeled it. Hubby and I were surprised it was delicious and was not really tasteless at all!
It was fortunate that I bumped into my old schoolmate there when we went to try out this place for the very first time. We get to chat a little while we waited for our food to be served. She went on to tell me that she just got back from abroad and told me about some news of her dad an OFW who was recently injured at work. There is no easy job when you think of a loved one who work in an oil platform, barge or cargo ship in the Gulf for example. Serious accidentsusually happens unfortunately. Good to hear though that her dad is home now and recovering well.
They left ahead of us while hubby and I were left to enjoy this “tasteless pancit canton“. I may be back here next time for another quick food trip when we cannot decide where to go and when I am craving for some noodle dish.
Quite a bold move to name a dish tasteless. But what made you order it though?
@Ziggy,
I was actually craving for pancit LOL! But I have to ask the waiter that when their menu says tasteless it means the opposite. They call their house specialty “the worst ribs in town” and they also have “masarap na papaitan” or something. They just want to be unique. 🙂
