Live Band Music at Friday’s

A week ago, when we were actually planning to have a dinner at TGI Friday’s, we saw that it was closed as there was an exclusive birthday party that lasted until 10PM that night.

While we were nearing Abreeza, we already noticed that there seems to be an event there. There was a live band playing music and when the little boy saw them as we passed by, he immediately looked at us and said “Okay, I don’t want a cookie (his fave from CBTL), I want a drum!” Yes, that is right a drum just like the one you see in the left side of this photo as he pointed out to us. I thought immediately what we could only afford, if ever, is the drum set we saw at Toys R’ Us. I know the little guy loves music and he has been really interested in the drum he saw at the mall. The real one will be something his dad will still have to save for.

We had dinner elsewhere then and when we passed by Fridays again on our way home the band was not there anymore which he noticed immediately. The little boy then said that the drum was gone, and expressed his sadness since he wants to play it.

After seeing this live band playing music, I wish that TGI Friday’s would consider it like a nightly gig or even just on Fridays and Saturdays. It would be fun to have live music there on weekends.
