Kapewenoz Specialty Coffee at Balai Belen Travellers Lodge

Kapewenoz Specialty Coffee has another branch in Balai Belen Travellers Lodge, an ancestral heritage looking building,  which I have been wanting to visit for quite a long while.

Their other branch of the coffee shop is located in V.Mapa Street near Davao Christian High School and in front of Paws N Claws or Pavillion building.

Finally was able to stop by Balai Belen and check Kapewenoz out when hubby and I passed by the street where it is located in Davao City. I wanted to treat hubby to some real good coffee and I also wanted to try a treat myself. So win-win for both of us.

Upon entering the cafe, you are greeted by this on the wall facing the front door…

Yes, true enough, often times we visit a cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee, just sit and sip while chatting with a loved one and forget the present cares of life and the world.

The busyness of the holiday season can take its toll on some so it is a must to slow down, spend some quiet time alone or with a trusted one who can help you enjoy life’s simple joys for an hour or more with a cup of delicious coffee.

Kape de leche is a best seller in Kapewenoz and that is what hubby ordered when he asked me what coffee to order. It is their version of Spanish latte – coffee with sweetened milk.

I actually went to Kapewenoz to try and buy their leche flan cheesecake. It’s P180 per slice and P1,800 for a whole cake. It’s basically leche flan topped over cheesecake. So it’s a 2 in 1 cake which you can order until the December 22 for the Christmas celebration. May just order a few slices so as not to over spend and also to control the cravings also the sugar dear friends.

When the holidays are over, we don’t wanna worry more about our health, right?
