E.Y’ Tuna Restaurant | Sooo Pinoy Food Trip na Pilipinas in Davao City

E.Y’s Tuna restaurant is a place for tuna dish lovers in Davao. EY is short for Eloisa Yee, the founder who started the restaurant in November 2010. They started from a small tent in Tagum City’s night market food street and they have brought their dishes to E.Y’s Tuna Restaurant here in Davao City. With the demand for healthier choice of people who choose tuna or fish over pork dishes, they were inspired to create and develop more recipes for a healthier diet.

Chicken Ala Mode… with boiled quail eggs (a fave of mine) NOPE it’s not what we thought it was at first looks. It is interesting to know those are actually white chocolate (see photo below ) which they used in this dish.

Sinigang Sugpo

Kinilaw

Tuna Fillet

Calamares

Crispy Crablets… one my fave during this food trip! These deep fried small crabs are really delicious as an appetizer. This is best eaten dipped in vinegar with diced garlic and pepper.

Adobong Bagaybay… this is one ‘saucy’ dish. I like it and it is delicious and not very mushy.

Grilled Pakol

Crispy Tuna Buntot… really crispy and crunchy!

A variety of fresh fruits that Davao is abundant of was part of our feast. I think everyone really appreciated the fresh fruits that they were able to enjoy after tasting and eating all the dishes above.

Here are the fish, tuna, squid, bagaybay and others that you can choose from and they will cook it. The price will DOS (Depend On Size). That’s a new term I learned from E.Y’s. *wink*

E.Y.’s Tuna is located at #49 Lacson Street in Obrero (telephone number 082 300 5154) and they also have another branch along the Buhangin.
