Dinner at Zoofari’s Outback Grill
It’s good to be back again with my boys at Zoofari’s Outback Grill last July 31, 2014 (Thursday) and the three of us also celebrated our move to our new place. We had dinner at Outback Grill, a place in Davao they would describe as “filled with fun, friends, entertainment and great food.”
When in Davao and thinking of a place to have a fun dining experience with your family, kids, even those kids at heart, friends, tourists and visitors in the Davao City, Zoofari’s Outback Grill, with its 1950’s jungle-themed restaurant, is the place to go.
We do remember our first ever visit and dinner at this place when it just opened here in the city just a few years ago and we had a souvenir photo with my boys with the Mr. Cross who will be seen to be “still hanging from the ceiling” inside the restaurant. His “crashed plane” on the roof can be seen outside from the street. I remember then we also met one of the owners, Mr. Andrew Worsley who was very accommodating and friendly.
Outback Grill is open everyday from 10AM to 12midnight. They serve “Filipino meets American” dishes. Think of BBQ dishes, their tender and delicious Chuck Wagon Ribs, grilled seafood dishes, and buko halo-halo topped with ube ice cream. They also have the Chicken Tower, their chicken BBQ with their homemade sauce.
These were some of the dishes they served during our dinner last time and which we got to enjoy again during another dinner for mommies and kids just last weekend at their Zoofari KTV room.
We like their Chuck Wagon, one kilo of their famous juicy, tender pork ribs with homemade sauce. This one above they served us was really good!
The Zoofari Bounty above is their all-time grilled seafood favorites of prawns, bangus, squid and liempo all in one plate served with their homemade sauces.
Not to be missed is their famous Goliath Burger which is ten (10) inches big with one kilo beef patty which we got to try again.
We couldn’t finish the whole burger. I can only wish we could. They do have a challenge for those daring enough to eat the whole giant burger all on your own. You will get to eat it whole solo for free if you finish it in 30 minutes or less. There’s a prize waiting for those who will win the Goliath Combo Challenge (P1,000 cash bonus) or the Goliath Burger Only Challenge (P250 Gift Certificate). Plus a t-shirt and your photo on their Outback Wall of Fame. Plus bragging rights too I guess. *wink*
My hubby is interested in taking the challenge. I may have to make a reservation on that. We’ll think about that next time.
They also have chicken BBQ, fried chicken and pork belly in their Zoolit Meals for P99 only and comes with unlimited rice. They have more other dishes to choose from in their menu. Check it out here soon > Menu of Zoofari’s Outback Grill.
Outback Grill is located beside Zoofari Bldg., Block 16 Lot 3, Bacaca Road, Garcia Heights, Davao City. You shouldn’t miss that “crashed plane” on the roof of the resto as you pass by it near the Ladislawa Village exit.
