Crazy Wraps Cafe More Than Just Wraps Now at Tionko
Crazy Wraps Cafe More Than Just Wraps is now at Tionko.
They opened their first branch at the 2nd floor SM Cinema Lobby in SM Lanang Premier catering to cinema goers. They had moved and opened in its new location at the Tiresmart Building right across Cooola Hometel in Tionko Avenue, Davao City.
We passed by this place a couple of times before coming and going somewhere. I took note of it and when we had time today, I decided to give this new branch a visit today.
I was a little hungry and wanted to wait for our son in a more comfortable place. So we went here. Hubby ordered the Crazy Bariga which is pan-fried pork belly served with a cup of rice. It was sinful yet delicious and they cooked this one just right for us.
I can’t resist but I ordered extra rice so I can share with the hubby. It’s good for one but if your appetite is not that big, not that hungry or you’re trying to diet yet wanted to try this, you can just actually share it.
Now what is a visit to Crazy Wraps if we didn’t order one of their wraps. I had the Beef Paratha Wrap that hubby ordered for me. I made him chose so we can share as well.
This was good. The first bite was a bit spicy. I have somehow acquired the taste for spicy food slowly because of my hubby’s influence. He likes food that are spicy. But the wrap was not all spicy. It was just in the first and last bite. I liked the lettuce in it. I wonder if Amarelo Farms is their supplier for the lettuce. I just read that in a feature on a local newspaper. I didn’t ask about that today and I’ll just ask when we go back here. Good if the lettuce they use at Crazy Wraps are indeed organic!
I also liked how the beef was soft and not hard to chew at all. It tasted like pulled pork for me actually at some point while I was eating it. It was filling that I had to share a few bites of it with the hubby but I enjoyed finishing it. It was good and delicious. We will be back for more and will try the other wraps which I hope are all consistently good. After all being named Crazy Wraps, the wraps should indeed be tasting really good consistently for one to get “Crazily Addicted” to it as they put it.
They have five choices for the wraps – beef, chicken, seafood, pork, and chorizo. You also choose the flat bread if you want the roti, paratha or chapatti. We chose paratha as recommended by their staff.
We skipped ordering drinks because we were planning to come back soon to chill and relax with our little guy who will be excited to see where the two big, pink chairs are used now. For now it was just a quick lunch since we only have an hour or so to stay.
I could no longer remember their menu since we usually look into the milk teas and drinks when we have visited their SM Lanang branch before when they were still new there. When I look at the menu today, they have more choices for food already and drinks as well.
Menu of Crazy Wraps Cafe More Than Just Wraps
When we got to Crazy Wraps, there were three groups of people inside. I noticed two groups look like med reps. According to the lady staff at the counter who entertained us and took our orders, the owners are med reps and doctors. I remember visiting their first branch in SM Lanang and If I am not mistaken we saw their chief operations officer Billy Joel Yu there. We were told before by their staff that the owners are med reps. I also remember they had an unlimited milk tea opening promo then and even if I like milk tea then, I could only consume up to two cups.
They also had a buy-one, take-one promo on all drinks on the opening day of this new branch that opened in March 12, 2014. This is bigger and also nicer inside. It has a mix of colorful furniture with more variety in the chairs and tables set up as well as the sofa. It has quite interesting decors and arrangement. I took time appreciating the chairs because I know who made them.
There is a built in book shelf on the wall that is designed as letters CW for Crazy Wraps.
I also noticed a series of pocketbooks and other books on the shelf that you can read while staying at the cafe. There is a uniquely designed chair that looks like a bookshelf too.
Those nice pink chairs were made by someone I knew. I first saw these at her shop waiting to be delivered and was instantly attracted to them basically because they were bright pink. Now I get to sit on them comfortably at the new Crazy Wraps branch.
Overall it has a more beautiful interior. You can sit down comfortably, enjoy bonding with your family, friends and colleagues. Or for us to simply lounge, relax and chill while waiting. You can also do your reading time there.
They now have a more flexible and longer store hours in the Tionko branch compared to their old one. They are open Monday to Friday 8AM-2AM; Saturday 10AM-2AM; and Sunday 11AM to 12MN. They also cater to special occasions.
The Tea’ Amo Tea and Coffee Shop in Tionko has closed already so if you are in this area and craving for milk tea in a nice place, Crazy Wraps Cafe is the place to be. After all they are “more than just wraps!”
Have a yummy day food trippers in Davao City!
Hi! Can we use one of your photos in our FB page? We actually did the sticker on their paratha. Thanks!
Sure.
