Carbonara | Coco’s South Bistro
Carbonara | Coco’s South Bistro
Whenever we get to dine at Coco’s South Bistro at Torres Street, I would always think of ordering their carbonara but I often end up choosing another dish in their menu. Until one day we went there for dinner with the boys and I did not want to eat rice. That was the only time after a few years that I was finally able to order it.
Then I realized I should have tasted this long before. It is delicious but the con is the serving is just too much for me or maybe I was just not that ready to fill my tummy to the max that night. But this Coco’s carbonara is something I would recommend given they cook it consistently just as delicious as when I ate it that night. This is a must try for carbonara lovers when you dine at Coco’s!
I have plans of going to Davao soon. This really helps. I wish I could go to some of these restaurants!
coco’s south bistro in gensan is the only place i’ve been to actually serve chicken in chicken fried steak, it’s really pathetic. the staff adamantly insisted it’s chicken, so out of curiosity, i ordered it to see for myself and voila! it was indeed fried chicken. it was a sorry excuse for a classic texan dish, for half of a teeny weeny foul, priced at 295Php it didn’t even taste good, i could buy a rendition of it at any sidewalk vendor’s stall. i guess these people don’t do their homework properly. chicken fried steak is breaded or dredged round steak seasoned and cooked like deep fried chicken. duh! these people must be really confused.
