Antonio’s Bar and Grill Davao
When we feel like dining out and going for another food trip, we go to Antonio’s Bar and Grill and we usually order their hot and spicy beef soup (below) which has been a favorite recently. We also order this when we happen to go to their branch in SM City Davao. It is nice to have a hot soup during your meal and since hubby likes spicy food then this one is a fave for both of us from now on.
Our latest visit there was the other day because we were craving for this hot and spicy beef soup. I actually miss my mom’s cooking as this is often part of our meals during the day but her’s was not spicy just hot beef soup. While waiting for food to be served, our lil boy wandered around the place and his attention at one point was caught by the under the sea scenes shown on the wall-mounted TV. I suddenly remember my sis asked me to canvass for something and there is a great selection to browse for wood, metal, wire and glass TV stands, designed to hold both flat screen and the common/conventional (CRT) TV at this stands and mounts site I found online with free shipping and 4% off on everything.
Now I wonder if Antonio’s has free wifi coz while waiting for food to be served for dinner, I may browse through that site and show hubby what I found that morning since we are also looking for TV mounts ourselves and we got more convinced to go for a wall mount upon seeing this one at Antonio’s where they mounted the TV on the wall so that the customers could see even if there are customers seated on the table near the TV area. Antonio’s is a nice place to go to for good Filipino food and nice ambiance. This barnch is also near our place which makes it convenient for us to go to for another family food trip.

Dear Ms. Kristine,
Were sorry for what happened. Rest assured that it won’t happened again. On the other hand, we found out that it was just a technical error that probably disconnected your conversation unpleasantly, and as to the name that your looking for we figured out that there were a miscommunication of the information. Which results to unidentified personality.
Were are Thankful for your comment.
THE MANAGEMENT?
On the evening of May 3rd 2011, my wife and I ordered crispy pata at Antonio’s. It arrived soggy, my wife was very disappointed because this was out last day in the Philippines, and we were flying back to Chicago. My wife being Filipino did not want to complain, but me being an American I told the waiter that the dish was not crispy. I’m telling you the truth, this stuff was really bad, and it was unreal to me how they could serve it. It was soggy, creasy and didn’t even look right. The waiter took the plate and returned the warmed up mess a few minutes later. He sat the plate down, said nothing, and quickly left. I wasn’t going to let this go and I asked him if the pork had been microwaved, because it’s not crispy. I probably should have said nothing, and just pulled the meat off the soggy fat, and ate it, because it was obvious that these people did not care about what they were serving. It was surreal how polite this waiter was as he was serving this garbage. I can accept the fact that they, like most restaurants in the Philippines won’t give you water with your meal. They think you’re going to not by pop, or they want to sell you bottles water, so I always have a large bottle of water with me, because they don’t care if your parched and are not enjoying your meal from lack of liquid. It’s rare that I don’t leave a tip for a waiter. I always leave a tip, even if it’s not standard practice in the Philippines. I would have left a tip at this Antonio’s if the waiter actually cared about our situation. Bottom line, I’ve had better crispy pata in squatter camps, and this place has no pride in what they serve. I rather eat at Burger machine.
