First Year Anniversary of TGI Friday’s Abreeza Davao

TGI Friday’s Abreeza Davao First Year Anniversary was yesterday, May 18, 2012 together with Italianni’s which is also under the Bistro Americano Corporation.

We joined a little bit in the FUN that they had! There were many birthday celebrants dining last night too.

After celebrating Mother’s Day there last May 13, we got invited by Sir John Borromeo to come back for their 1st year anniversary. The food servers we knew there were also inviting us because our most ordered dish probably – chicken fingers, which happens to be their number one dish too was on promo at only P100 per order instead of P235 but only yesterday. It so happens that it was also the mini-graduation of our little boy from being part of the McDo Kiddie Crew (his first ever!) so after their graduation, we decided to drop by since we were already there at Abreeza and see what is in store for Friday’s first year anniversary. We were too early for dinner and their bar show but we were also hungry so we went in early. We enjoyed our stay and I am happy I got to use the GC they gave us on Mother’s Day and we also availed of the promo which the little boy ate with gusto almost all by himself. The chicken fingers was gone by the time I joined them.

We like dining at Friday’s because it is more FUN to dine there. After a year since they opened their first resto in Davao, we have come to know some of their very friendly staff most especially when the little kid joined their first batch ever of Kids in Stripes here in Davao last month. Also their service has been really good so far for us. Plus the food is great too. Again it is fun dining there! It can be quite pricey, yes! But thanks to their TBC or The Bistro Circle discount card, we have been able to enjoy the 20% discount on food and beverage each time we dine in for the past few months as well as the free appetizers we enjoyed using their vouchers. You may buy those TBCs now if you want them by the way. Look for Lani and Jefferson.

Hey, I have to make that clear before anyone else reading this assumes we dine there often or that we are rich. No we are not rich! We simply love to eat for sure. We simply like dining there because it is fun and food is great. Sir Dong makes sure of that being the kitchen manager. Plus the servers and the rest of the Friday’s Abreeza team are very accommodating and have been kind to us too.

Thanks to the friendly servers – past (Hirman good luck!) and current Ryan, Tony, Donna, Rhedz, Liza, Dave, Enzo, Neil, April, Shierra; also to Jefferson and Lani; hosts Mitch and Harphy (nice to see Hannah again); the kitchen crew (familiar faces and we’ll have to know your names), manager Ms. Irene, kitchen manager Sir Dong and of course Sir John Borromeo, the GM!
