Dinner Hosted by SDSBTC Culinary Arts Students

The St. Dominic Savio Business and Technical College Culinary Arts students hosted a dinner as part of the culmination of their two year culinary arts course last March 24, 2012. My boys and I were grateful to have been invited to this dinner by the lovely and kind couple of Mr. Jay and Chef Simone De Vera.

It was indeed a dinner treat from the graduating culinary students who prepared the following dishes for the dinner they hosted.

Gourmet Bites Malasugue Ceviche Crunch Rolls

I liked this Potato & Leek Soup. First time to have tried this and I liked it! We would like to know how to make this one so we can make it with my boys at home since our little boy has been showing interest in cooking. Thanks to Junior MasterChef Australia!

This delicious entree dish called Chicken Rose & Herbed Mashed Potatoes with Buttered French Beans made me realize how I missed mashed potato and would you know experimented making mashed potato at home Monday night for the first time with my boys.

The little boy especially loved this dessert which was not too sweet for him yet it was a delicious Vanilla Panna Cotta with Strawberry Sauce served with chocolate designed as a leaf.

Island Cocktail Drink
Last but definitely not the least was this refreshing Island Cocktail drink that they served. I enjoyed drinking it and I know too that hubby loved it more!

Thank you Chef Sime and Chef Rhiyya
