Tata Benito’s a whole LATTE love (Bajada, Davao City branch)

Hubby treated me for my birthday last Sunday at Tata Benito’s a whole LATTE love coffee shop at their new and second branch at J.P. Laurel (Bajada), Davao City. We were really going out to try out Boyd’s as suggested by one of the readers and visitors in this blog but they were closed. Since I was craving for creamy carbonara and I missed it so instead of trying out Coco’s Grill, we opted for Tata Benito’s. This branch is bigger than the one in World Palace. Here are some photos hubby took while we were there.

Wow, yummy!
I’ve only been to Davao once but remember it to be a great food experience. The suha alone is a reason to go.
Mouth watering pictures! I wish you a Happy Birthday too 🙂
Have a great week!
I like what they did to the latte — that swirly-swirly thing. And the food looks yummy too.

I am sorry to burst the bubble but I beg to differ with your positive views. I was just one of those curious people who tried this place out since it looks decent on the outside. I went here a few weeks ago and I just had a “not so good” coffee experience i ever had. The moment we walked in, the bar counter looks like a mess, you could see clutter at the barista’s working area, cakes are typically from sugar munch (I am very sick of sugar munch, is there any other cake shop here in davao?), and the worst of all, the drinks…I had their white berry mocha sugar free, it was the blandest of all. Poor coffee taste and tastes nothing like berries.
Funny part, I saw their baristas having a hard time arguing each other over something i do not know while making my white berry mocha….so i guess that is how it ended up bland. Say, Tata Benito? I will pass…
i was so disapointed with their carbonarra..the pasta noodles were well not properly cooked and the noodles ended up ina bunch and i could still taste the raw pasta..the cream sauce is a disaster..its just not carbonara at all!
