Something’s Missing

Something’s missing. Can you guess what it is?

It’s the tall holiday tree that’s missing alright. As I was sipping my hot drink, my thoughts drifted off to those times when the 57 foot tall Christmas tree was still there in this background with the holiday music playing all throughout the mall while I just heard the male customer sitting on the next table talking on the phone with someone about kinds of hand wheels and stuff. None of my business actually but he was talking quite loud for everyone around him to hear loud and clear. Yet I just allowed my mind to drift off to some wonderful holiday memories for awhile and forget the surrounding as I calmly enjoy my hot holiday drink toffee nut latte.

How I sometimes wish it’s still the Christmas holiday and we can just enjoy, relax and sip our fave hot holiday beverage from our fave coffee shops! Now some things are missing and we remind ourselves that Christmas is in our hearts and we can always feel the spirit when we love, share and give each day that we live…
