Coffee Grounds by Golden Lion Dormitel in Photos
An interesting new coffee shop in Davao City located at Roxas Extension was in my mind and when I woke up later at night at the start of hubby’s own long weekend off from work for our anniversary (#happywifehappylife), we went there to check the place out and have a last hour celebration of the International Coffee Day!

I love this new place in Davao City’s ever growing number of coffee shops.
The staff are also very accommodating. The senior barista male staff told us that they opened last August 8, 2015 and that it is owned by a foreigner from Hong Kong.
Thank you for making our short stay at the coffee shop a nice, fun and awesome one!
It looks good and different making me feel like we were some place else.
It is located at The Golden Lion Dormitel in Roxas Extension, Davao City. When you reach the end of Roxas Avenue at the Quezon Boulevard intersection just cross it and look for this building at the left side of Roxas Extension. You can actually see it from the crossing or intersection.
More photos will be added in my next update of this post….
The Golden Lion Dormitel reception area is beside the coffee shops front counter.
The door leading to the Golden Lion Dormitel.
They have a photo wall beside the front door and they have props you can borrow as well for that nice photo souvenir.
A beautiful chandelier at the first floor of Coffee Grounds.
Many Ateneans were there during our visit.
Saw this spot on our way to check out the second floor of the coffee shop.
Some interesting pieces of decors in the coffee shop…
This sign above reminds me of the historic US Route 66 in Kansas to Arizona that was mentioned in one of the favorite animated Disney-Pixar movies of my son, Cars.
An old clock.
They have a second floor that can serve as function room for meetings, private functions, small parties and other private gatherings. It can fit more or less 20 people. They charge P1,500 for the first __ hours.
A popular spot for photo at the second floor section of the coffee shop.
Some signs and stuff with thoughts to ponder on…
Don’t let anything stop you from praying.
A pair of pillows I spotted on the second floor couch that we used for a photo opp as souvenir for our first visit there in time for a special celebration for us for this month.
The menu board at the counter.
Cafe mocha with latte art to enjoy for the night.
Ordered their matcha frappe to satisfy some matcha craving.
Before I end this post, let me all greet you…
Happy International Coffee Day!
