Get a limited edition couple shirt for FREE from Antonio’s Bar & Grill when you complete the fourteen (14) stamps from the selected dishes indicated in their 2013 Valentine promo card.
Avail of their promo for the whole love month from February 1 to 28, 2013. We get to try having our promo card stamped as they served each of those 14 dishes which you must try.
Eventually we got to complete all the 14 stamps (forming a heart) after which my hubby and got one of their couple shirt.
Yes do try and get to enjoy some their new dishes which are among the fourteen (14) dishes included in their promo which we all got to try during an Antonio’s sensory experience last January 29, 2013 at Antonio’s Bar & Grill SM City Davao branch which since 2006 had been offering modern Filipino food with a twist and they have been proud of their tagline “Sarap na kilala ngunit kakaiba!”
So here are the 14 dishes in the menu selection of Antonio’s Love Story Valentine promo…
Dinakdakan – A known Ilocano dish made of spicy pork mascara blended with special ingredient and mayonnaise, vinegar, onions and spices.

Bagnet – Another known Ilocano dish. Thinly sliced crispy fried salted pork belly with a special dipping sauce. It was the second dish they served. One of the new dishes in their menu. I liked how it was cooked… literally really crispy. Sarap!
Sisig Pusit – Stuffed squid with pork sisig. It is an exclusive dish served in Antonio’s. It is also one of the new dishes in their menu. I really love the pusit they served and how perfectly tender the squid was cooked. I wish all restos cook it that way. Also, the pork sisig they stuffed into the squid was also good and delicious. It is one of my hubby’s fave after all. He gets the sisig while I loved eating the squid and also the sisig. Try this!
Sinigang Hipon – Tamarind sour soup with shrimp and vegetable. This is a dish for those who love sinigang and I know more than a few foodie friends who love sinigang. I love shrimps as well so this is perfect when we want a hot soup particularly sinigang plus when I crave for shrimps.
Antonio’s Bulalo – Beef bone marrow soup.
Pinaputok na Manok – Deep fried seasoned chicken wrapped in banana leaves.
Balbacua – Stewed ox feet and skin cooked in Antonio’s special sauce.
Crispy Bangus sa Inadobong Kangkong at Gata – Crispy fried bangus topped with stewed kangkong and coconut milk.
Binagoongang Gulay – Assorted vegetables sautéed in fermented shrimp and stewed in coconut milk. One of our favorite dishes when we feel like quickly dining out at Antonio’s and we’re looking for a vegetagble dish. Their Abreeza staff who knew us knows this is one of our usual orders there. Right Sir Tata? *wink*
Crispy Pata – Deep fried pork knuckles served with soy-vinegar deep. I love how crispy and crunchy the pork skin was.
Ang sarap ng balat of the crispy pata they served in our table! I can only wish I can eat a lot of it as I looked at the plate that was right in front of me in the table where we were seated! Too much temptation! It’s like eating my favorite chicharon with laman! It’s good for four person though it could all depend on each person’s appetite and craving for it.
Inihaw or Crispy Tuna Belly – Deep fried tuna belly. Those who love to have a fish dish and loves tuna should try this dish. It is delicious and I liked it.
Inadobong Manok sa Gata at Sili – Chicken stewed in vinegar, garlic & soy sauce then coconut milk with added chili fingers. This was delicious and not that spicy at all for me which is good for those like me who are not really much into spicy food. Its taste somehow reminds me of something close to my favorite curry chicken. Both dishes are delicious and I like it. You can probably request for them to make it really spicy or not.
Frozen Buko Pandan – Frozen salad of buko meat, pandan gelatin and thick cream. It is a new dessert that you also order for take out placed in an Antonio’s special tub that you can take home. Hubby and I both agree… with this one we both love the cream!

Iced Tea Tower – Nestea Iced Tea served in a convenient tower dispenser. This was the first one they served us and it was just perfect because we were thirsty when we arrived. For a hot afternoon like what we had today, I can drink a lot of their iced tea from the tower dispenser. It was enough for the four of us in our table and during the launch they gave us a treat by giving us a refill of it making it like bottomless iced tea for the four of us. *wink*
Wow! That was indeed a lovely, filling and delicious early dinner treat from Antonio’s!
