Kairos Kitchen Davao Opens a Sea-riously Kairos Seafoods Restaurant
Kairos Kitchen Davao opens a SEA-riously Kairos Seafoods Restaurant adjacent to their old resto located along Loyola Street in Obrero, Davao City. Their new seafoods resto had its grand opening held last August 18, 2017 during the busy week of Kadayawan.
We are grateful to have been invited by the genuinely warm and kind owner, Ms. Sharon Panaguiton, an engineer by profession.
She and her family has chosen to move and live in Davao as well as do business related to food since she and her husband love to eat in places they travel to together.
During the grand opening of their new seafood resto, we were able to try their various seafood dishes in their menu in a lunch feast with friends!
Shark’s Fin With Crab Meat Soup
Grilled Squid and Grilled Tuna Belly
All of these dishes we had that lunch get a thumbs up! The cold prawn was surprisingly a good combination of fruits and prawn. We could not resist getting more of it. Their special balls were also good. While the steamed pompano satisfied my craving for fish. The star perhaps for me is the fried crabs with salted egg. Wish I was much younger to indulge in that!
Yes that is literally warm Coke with lemon. It’s my first time to try it!
The new Kairos has this section where you can choose what seafood you would like them to cook for you.
The painting that you will see on the wall of the new resto is a beautiful work of art by Ms. Dadai Joaquin.
They will weigh the seafood you chose and they will cook it the way you want it cooked.
That’s the friendly waiter who entertained us the first time we dined back there after they re-opened. 🙂
They do have crabs! A must in a seafod resto right? *wink* Cook it with salted egg… perfect!
They have live fish from Alsons and when available they do have ‘catch of the day’ fish from Samal Island.
The new Kairos Seafoods Restaurant has nice function rooms which can be a good venue for private gatherings like parties, meetings, seminars, etc.
You may contact them for the official rates when available which are consumable rates. The owner is open for you to bring lechon but they are planning to tie up with an official lechon supplier so you can have lechon for your parties at Kairos, hassle-free.
One thing caught my attention when we were dining at the new resto is that they offer these baskets for your bags that you can shove and fit below your chair. You comfortably enjoy your dining experience with your family and friends.
Kairos Kitchen Davao way back then has been an old fave resto of ours to go to for a very tummy filling breakfast. Among our fave then was their bulad galore breakfast set meal. The serving is even good for two and for hubby and me when we get to dine there for our breakfast dates. We would even be able to take out the left over for a very yummy bulad lunch at home.
With so many restaurants in Davao City, Kairos hopes to make it to your list of fave seafood resto that is great for family lunch or dinner out. We were able to dine there recently on our own with my boys during their soft opening and there were big families dining there for dinner that time. No need to wait to be seated on a table coz the place isn’t as crowded as the restos in the malls. I love quite restos that serve delicious seafood. The usual other seafood restos we’ve been to are noisy that you have to raise your voice often with effort in order to be heard by your companions. Nothing against those other fave old restos of ours. It is just that sometimes, I want a more quite and peaceful ambiance while we enjoy a seafood feast. *wink*
The food we ordered that time we had dinner there was sea-riously delicious. My hubby and little guy loved their grilled tuna belly while their salt and pepper fried ribs was an instant fave!
