Harbour City Dimsum House captures the palates of the people of Davao especially those dimsum lovers with the dishes they have. There you can experience classic dimsum and tea house dining experience similar to those found in the Hong Kong landmark destination, Harbour City, which actually serves as an inspiration for the resto’s name and concept.

Tracing its roots from Ding How and Ding Qua Qua restaurants which started dimsum cuisine in Cebu and the concept of all day dimsum dining offering recipes that have made these brand names part of the popular Cebuano cuisine.

They continue to make their way of bringing the unique dimsum dining experience to other cities in the Philippines and make people experience – Everyday Hong Kong.

Harbour City Dimsum House in Davao opened at the ground floor of SM Lanang Premier last July 29, 2017. From Cebu City to Davao City, the Cebu franchise is owned by the Koksengs. The family also owns Dimsum Break which has also branched out in Davao from Cebu at Gaisano Mall of Davao.

They have branches nationwide with four (4) branches in Metro Cebu in Ayala Center, SM City Cebu, SM Seaside City and Marina Mall in Mactan.  They also have branches in Cagayan de Oro in Centrio Mall and SM City CDO; as well as in SM City Iloilo and in Dumaguete City.

My boys and I have dined there last August, a month or so since they opened. My fave since has been their vegetable spring rolls. I have a thing for fried spring rolls. They usually served it cut into three parts perhaps to make it more easy to eat and indulge in.

Among their desserts, I love their leche flan most.

I have yet to try their coconut creme dessert which is somehow evasive as it often runs out of stock when we are there. Chef Gene likes to order that dessert they said.

The Xie Ping or the Chinese verion of our halo halo using ube or purple colored shaved ice is another popular dessert at Harbour City Dimsum House.
