Picobello Ristorante Italiano Re-Opens at The Shoppes at Wood Lane
Picobello Ristorante Italiano re-opened at The Shoppes at Wood Lane last June 30, 2015.
It’s nice to see this sign once again and hanging up near the entrance of their resto’s new location.
At the entrance, they have a wall for those who may want to have a photo souvenir at their fave Italian resto in the city that is now back in the Davao food scene.
They now have a nice alfresco area too.
We were quite early and there weren’t too many diners yet for lunch.
Since it was a quite warm Saturday morning, I ordered their own refreshing house-blend iced tea with a slice of lemon.
Three small plates with these complimentary bread were served while we were waiting for the food we ordered for a simple brunch.
We didn’t want a heavy brunch but couldn’t resist filling our tummies with their calzone and carbonara – two of the fave dishes at Picobello.
Their Fettuccine Carbonara is a delight and lovingly shared with my hubby and my dear little guy. It is made with cream, egg, ham, bacon and Parmesan cheese.
Their Calzone was stuffed with tomato sauce, ricotta cheese, ham, mozzarella, parmesan cheese, black olives, and capers.
It was a satisfying and filling brunch enjoyed with my boys for our Saturdate! Next visit we will try their pizza once again.
A lot of their regular customers way back love their pizzas which were cooked in a brick oven. They now use a different and commercial type of oven.
Many of us do remember their Happy Hour buy 1, take 1 pizza promo for a filling afternoon snack with my boys way back then.
They closed sometime in 2014 in their old location at the 5th floor of Gaisano South Citimall in Ilustre. Picobello has since re-opened and is now currently located at the second floor of The Shoppes at Wood Lane. Just go up the stairs at the right side of HB1 then turn right and at the end of the hallway is Picobello, where you will be passing by the Macsel Enterprises Furniture Davao.
The Shoppes at Wood Lane is a two-storey commercial building in Ma-a, C.P. Garcia Highway or more commonly known as the Diversion Road here in Davao City.
Wood Lane is located fronting Monteritz Classic Estates Subdivision and near Woodridge Park Subdivision. Also near the newly opened C.P. Garcia Campus of the Davao Christian High School.

@Jelly,
Hi! Picobello is open from 11:00AM-10:30PM.
Is the happy hour buy 1 take 1 pizza still available? are the prices still the same as way back then? thanks 🙂
@Kareen,
As far as we we know they told us that they no longer have the buy 1 take 1 during the time of our visit in their new location. I hope they will bring it back! 🙂
I could also no longer recall the prices then. Perhaps you may visit their Facebook page and inquire po. Thank you! 🙂
