Leche Flan Gelato of Missy Bon Bon at Gaisano Mall

Missy Bon Bon opened yesterday Friday, March 20, 2015 in front of the supermarket area in the lower ground floor of Gaisano Mall Davao.

I want to give their gelato a try. So we tried it when we got the chance to go to Gaisano Mall today. They give a taste test on their gelatos which was good so you can sample before deciding what to buy. I was able to try their bestsellers pistachio and Ferrero flavored gelatos. These two flavors sell at P110 per cup. Both flavors tasted good.

I tasted their durian gelato that sells P75 per cup. The cheapest flavor I asked was at P65 per cup. The prices of their gelato vary depending on the flavor. Other gelato shops in Davao sell at a fixed price mostly on all flavors depending only on the size of the cup.

I wanted my little guy to enjoy his first Missy Bon Bon gelato so I decided to buy their leche flan gelato flavor. He has been asking for the leche flan sundae sold at the entrance of Gaisano Mall which cost only P10. Yes to life’s simple pleasures.

Their leche flan gelato wasn’t too sweet for me. The boys enjoyed it since the sweetness was just perfect for them too. The three of us just shared it. I didn’t want to indulge in too much sweets today.  I’m trying to stay away from sweets as a Lenten sacrifice. It’s not that easy when there is another gelato store nearby was offering a buy one, take one promo.

My friend and I came back after as I accompanied her as she wanted to try their gelato as well. She went for their pistachio. It turned out to be so sweet when you have a cup of this very sweet flavored gelato. The pistachio flavor of gelato is a usual fave of some people I know.

It is nice to have another option for a gelato shop. We all have our own personal preferences and favorites. I hope to try the other flavors next time.
