It has a kiosk concept and open fresh shop that gives you an outdoor feel. They used wood in the right side of the store that gives it a unique look compared to their two other stores in the city. The long table on the rightmost part as shown in this photo have power outlets where customers can charge their mobile phones and put them in that part that serves as a cover while dining and enjoying their Krispy Kreme doughnuts/baked creations and your fave drinks.

Shown in this photo above is Engr. Therese Lapena-Manalo, SM Lanang Premier Mall Manager (second from left) beside two kids from the Orphanage of St. Joseph along with the management and staff of SMLA Krispy Kreme branch as they did the ribbon cutting ceremony and some photo opp as well last Thursday.

Ms. Steph from the marketing department of Krispy Kreme Philippines is back here once again for the store opening and gave a short message.

To make this store branch opening unique among the three we have seen, Krispy Kreme is sharing an experience with chosen children from the local foundation, the Orphanage of St. Joseph in Tugbok, Davao City.

While waiting for the ribbon cutting ceremony to start, the kids had fun and got busy coloring books…

The kids were treated through a gift giving ceremony by the Krispy Kreme management and some VIP guests.

Then later on the kids got to complete a doughnut dipping session, assisted by one of the Krispy Kreme team members, as a show of support to the world-famous doughnut and coffee brand.

I somehow know their feeling of happiness and excitement inside for these kids who got to try that Krispy Kreme experience. I felt really happy like a kid trying it for the very first time then three months ago in their Abreeza branch.

Our little kid was excited to hear that they have finally opened in SMLA that he really wanted to go there during the opening but he was still going to school that day. But we’re sure to visit this latest branch in the city with him this weekend.

Thanks for the sweet treat from Krispy Kreme! Carrot Pecan from their Baked Creations, an Oreo doughnut plus a cup of caramel latte.

We also met Ruby once again at their SM Lanang branch during the opening. We’ve seen her at their two other branches over the past three months. It was nice to see a familiar, smiling face serving our sweet cravings that day and the days to follow once again. This photo below was taken during their VIP event at SM City Davao two days before they opened there last October 20, 2012.

I can look into their choices of assorted doughnuts forever and want to buy them all. Now I can only wish I can eat them all too! *wink*

Buying their doughnuts is not just for satisfying our sweet cravings for as you enjoy their doughnuts and coffee, you get to help in their legacy of sharing the gift of joy.

Krispy Kreme sets aside P20 for every sale of the brand’s specially designed Tin Can for its partner charities—12 organizations that care for the environment: ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. – Bantay Kalikasan and Philippine Native Plants Conservation Society Inc.; for creativity: Cultural Center of the Philippines, Visual Arts and Museum Division; for lives: Caritas Manila Inc., Philippine Red Cross, and ICanServe Foundation Inc.; for our animal friends: Philippine Animal Welfare Society; and of course, for kids: Operation Smile Philippines, Kythe Inc., Development and Accessibility Fund for the Deaf Inc., Autism Society Philippines, and Friends of Hope Inc.

For added security to their valued customers, they have their own CCTVs within the store which I as a customer will really appreciate after an incident in another establishment beside them. Customers need to feel secure while dining since this is an open area in the atrium. Krispy Kreme tries its best to makes every customer comfortable and secure to fully enjoy the Krispy Kreme experience in each visit.

Thank you so much Ms. Marissa Tionko and also to Ms. Steph of Krispy Kreme Philippines! *wink*
